Обновление Parted Magic (обновлены 20 программ) - Live CD, содержащий пакет утилит для работы с разделами жесткого диска на базе загрузочного CD Linux. Позволяет производить различные операции над разделами и поддерживает большое количество файловых систем: ext2, ext3, ext4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS, HFS, JFS Linux-подкачки, NTFS, ReiserFS, reiser4, и XFS.

Всего в состав Parted Magic входят более 70 разных утилит для проверки состояния дисков, мониторинга, копирования, архивации данных. Загрузка Parted Magic может осуществляться с CD, USB-диска или по сети.

Особенности:
* Форматирование внутренних и внешних твердых дисков.
* Перемещение, копирование, создание, удаление, расширение и сокращение разделов на жестком диске.
* Клонирование твердых дисков, чтоб создать полную запасную копию.
* Проверка твердых дисков и их диагностика.
* Проверка памяти на наличие покоробленных секторов.
* Benchmark вашего комп для оценки его уровня работы.
* Удаление всех данных на жестком диске, без способности их восстановления.

* Загружается с CD в память, дальше работает без CD.
* Поддерживает сетевые подключения.

Parted Magic ISO образ в истинное время "гибридный", так что может быть записана конкретно на диск USB.

Parted Magic просит по крайней мере i586 процессор и 256 Мб RAM для работы или 128 в "Live" режиме.
